And, as to characterisation, I imagine that it was down to both scripts being written simultaneously and both working off different aspects of Leela from Face of Evil. (Robert Holmes works on her savagery and tries to do Pygmalion, while Chris Boucher uses her wisdom based on experience and instinct to counter the science and civilisation around her and the whole set up of the two stories is very different. It probably didn't look wildly different on the page.)
I have about 5 of the Happy Endings half-written at the moment, although one is rapidly becoming an UnHappy Ending. So it's good to know someone won't mind reading them!!! Hopefully the one for Talons will be around soon. :-)
