TARDIS Speculation

Time for a This Time Round story, I feel.  And where else can I start but with this bit of fun & nonsense, even if it wasn't my first entry to the Round?

If you’re new to the concept of This Time Round, the pub outside reality where Doctor Who characters go when they're not in a story, then go to the main page of the site and do a bit of exploring.  The FAQ will give you the lowdown & recommend some stories to start with.

For a brief intro, it's Outside reality in a town called Nameless.  Characters can (and do) give their opinions of plot arcs and treatment, authors pop up, along with their Muses.  And Nyssa kills Adric.  A lot.  There's supposedly no continuity, so anything can happen and nobody dies permanently.  There's a creche (with mini-versions of the Who characters.  Oh yes.  And a High School with familiar looking pupils...  You get the idea.)  About the only rule is that all stories have to be first posted on alt.drwho.creative, where they began.

The story:

The Second Doctor’s got a copy of the book 'About Time 2' and finds the essay at the back: 'All Right, So Was There Any Hanky-Panky in the TARDIS?'

Needless to say it causes chaos, murder and outrage.  So, just your average night in the Round.

"Look at this!" The Second Doctor waved a large paperback book around
excitedly.
Jamie eyed him warily. "What is it now, Doctor?"
"Well," he said, placing the book on the table and smoothing it open,
"it's a book about me! Although I'm not sure I should show _this_ to
Polly."
His companion folded his arms. "Doctor, what are you on about?"
"According to this, she had a crush - on ME!" finished the Doctor,
near to bursting with pride and amusement at the idea.
"Who did?" asked Ben, sitting down at their table.

"Am I in it?" asked Jamie with more interest, although Ben was now
frowning into his beer, having heard the explanation.
The Doctor sighed patiently, "Yes, Jamie."
He considered this, pleased - and then looked worried. "Hang on a
minute - I don't have a crush on you as well, do I?"
"It's not fact, Jamie," said the Doctor and then glared at him. "And
I certainly hope not!"
It was at this point he found the penultimate essay: 'Oh all right...
Was there any hanky panky in the TARDIS?'
