If memory serves, strictly speaking the fictional Cardinal Richelieu doesn't have a first name at all, at least not one that his author bothered to mention. And it's not safe to assume anything, because when it comes to the only musketeer whom Dumas bothered to give a first name, the name Dumas gave him is not the same as the name his historical counterpart had.
