[livejournal.com profile] clocketpatch, I'm sorry I've neglected your drabble for the meme below (I've only got 4 requests filled - people can still make one if they want! Go on!), but this was why and given that you suggested it (even if, evil mind that I am, I was already trying to write it), you may forgive me.

Dependent on when it appears on Teaspoon, of course.

And I've spent most of today writing out one (longhand, so you're all safe for a bit) for Image of the Fendahl. (It nearly turned into an epic).

Edit: 'Tis up on Teaspoon already, so it is.

Ah well, there's only so far as us mere mortals may go when put up next to the likes of jjpor and Robert Holmes. I seem to have lost my thesaurus however, which makes me really quite sad (it's over 50 years old, missing its original cover, and by FAR the best thesaurus in the world *wibbles* I shan't find another like it)

You aren't being dim, lulzy would be my adjective corruption of lol. If I would stop making up words maybe people would be more apt to know what I'm on about half the time (but I can't, especially now that my thesaurus is gone... *sad*)

I found it! I found it!

after posting I went on a house clean&search mission and now my 1959 Soule's Dictionary of English Synonyms is back safe on my desk where it belongs.

Some silly person had put it on a bookshelf. It doesn't have a cover and it's pages go all funny when you do that. *sighs*
