From the non-Who pit of old TV sci-fi, 'A for Andromeda' and it's sequel had women in it, they stayed on Earth though, everyone did and Peter Haliday was the woman(lol). 'Quatermass and the Pit' had a female assistant can't remember if it was to the Prof or an archaeologist, she didn't do much more than make the tea though. And all I recall from 'Quatermass II' was Roger Delgado;p
