I do remember watching (I think) one or two of the sequels, but evidently, my Dad recorded over them pretty quick, or me and my sister preferred things with magical shop window dummies, I dunno.

That is the danger, isn't it? Some things are just great, and some thing aren't? Mannequin is a bit of shock - it's bizarre and tacky, and actually much ruder in places than I ever noticed as a teen, but it's too busy being so happy and not caring about that, that criticism seems just irrelevant. And certainly daring to rewatch Dungeons & Dragons, Press Gang, and Maid Marian proved great, too. There are some things I would never dare even try with, though. I got the definite feeling childhood memories could be shattered into tiny pieces... :-D
