Aw, thanks. I am trying to be better at bringing picspams. (And also, sorry, I've let things slide a lot lately, and I've been even worse at keeping up with LJ than DReamwidth. I will try better now my letter has come, but weather and available brain are still both awkward variables.)
It's a pity James Maxwell wasn't there to hold Peter Bowles's hand, but you can't have everything.
Yes, Bernard Horsfall took his hand away; James Maxwell would never have done that!
I liked what I saw of Secret Army though one ep had Bernard Hepton being extremely ruthless and killing a young airman.
I've only watched six or seven episodes so far, but he's already done this twice! Once directly and the other by telling some Germans.
Ransom doesn't sound bad at all, despite Sean Connery's hat and moustache.
It wasn't! I mean, I don't think I'd rush out and tell everyone to watch it (unless they were Ian McShane fans, in which case, they really ought to/probably have already anyway) but I enjoyed it. It was well-played and well-shot with an interesting plot. I think it must have suffered from not being the action-thriller that people would have expected from the write up.
