LOL! I have to admit that Allo Allo did pop into my head when I mentioned the Resistance. *g* If the Resistance helped them, there would have to be a scene in which Maurice and Alec disguise themselves by wearing strings of onions around their necks. They would also have to speak with an appalling French accent. Oh, wait. No, that was the Englishman disguised as a French policeman, wasn't it? Well, I'd have to be able to put them in some kind of ridiculous disguise and/or have them speaking in an atrocious accent to make the endeavour worthwhile. ;-)
