A wild writing meme appears!
It's been a while, but let's risk the wrath of summer and do this thing! Snagged from
john_amend_all and
romanajo123:
Take a pairing (or two or more characters), and put them in this random generator, then post your favorite resulting prompts (as many as you wish) in a comment below and I will try to oblige you by writing at least one of them.
With this sort of thing, anything goes, as long as I know the fandom at least in passing & I'll just let you know if I don't know it or can't write it. And the above seems to suggest using the same pairing/combination for all the prompts, but I'm just as happy with multiple pairings as well as prompts to choose from.
(See my tags and interests for some guidance if you need some.)

I was putting things through the UC generator the other day with hopes of finding something I could write, but had to save these ones which made me laugh too much to lose them:
316) Phantom Lover by Rebecca York
He Came To Her In The Night
In the darkened bedroom of Ravencrest, Mina Harker was seduced by an unseen lover. A lover whose scorching kiss was strangely familiar. Was her midnight caller John Seward, her onetime love, or was it the mythical ghost who haunted the cliffside, windswept estate on the California coast?
A P.I., Mina had come undercover to Ravencrest to find its owner, John, and ensure his well-being. But Mina knew she was out of her league the moment she saw its dark rock spires and its creepy inhabitants who claimed a crazy John was a prisoner in his own chambers. But Mina heard his husky voice, felt his sizzling touch…. Exactly who was weaving an undeniable, erotic spell around her?
(IT CAN ONLY BE THE GHOST, MINA.)
491) No Conventional Miss by Eleanor Webster
Count Dracula is an unlikely debutant. He favours fact over fashion, cares not for 'proper' conversation and is haunted by ghostly visions which could land him in the madhouse! Marriage is definitely the last thing on Dracula's mind...
But when he's caught in a compromising position with Viscount Adam Adamant suddenly he finds himself betrothed! And, worse, his powerful presence only increases his visions. By shedding light on the Viscount's past, can Dracula gain his trust and win him round his more ... unconventional traits?
280) The Resurrectionist – Sierra Woods (M&B Nocturne )
Lucy Weston is tough… even the grave couldn’t keep her down. Ever since mysterious beings brought her back from her tragic murder, she’s been using her newfound powers to restore justice. It’s dangerous work and backup doesn’t hurt – especially when it’s from hunky cop Jonathan Harker.
There’s only one catch: after what her ex-husband did, Lucy can never trust another man. She’ll just have to keep ignoring the heat sizzling between them. But as a great evil begins to rise, Lucy and Jonathan must get closer than they’ve ever been before.
:-D
(Are you actually not requesting all of the above prompts or are you requesting some of them or ...??)

He's not a prisoner, he likely insists. The door just got stuck, poor man, but nobody will find a locksmith.
You're right, it can only be the ghost, because John is banging on that door trying to get out. If only Mina would put aside her husky voiced ghost and use that key he dropped, please and thank you.

I think I had that result with Dracula, too, when I tried it a while ago. If not, then something very close to it. Granted, it was Seward he ended up betrothed to.
My brain is currently melting from the heat around here, sorry. Not all of the above ones in the other comment, no--I didn't want to leave you with too much. I'll just request the one with the sleepwalking, and the one with the poltergeist.

LOL! This is clearly what is happening, there can be no question.

What would you say if instead my hand slipped and I wrote the Mina/Jonathan/John clones + restrained + fair/amusement park?
I mean, only asking for purely theoretical reasons! *whistles*

I'd say it's fantastic and go with it!
