:-D Well, like most character actors, his CV includes pretty much every long-running show from old Brit TV, including Doctor Who - he had the misfortune to be in Underworld! But he was in The Avengers, The Saint & Dangerman twice, Raffles and many other things, so you may have encountered him. He is mostly not very memorable (unless he is), and while he was actually quite a key player at the time, he isn't known so well today because after the Royal Exchange opened in 1976, his commitments there (acting, directing, writing & various other things) took him away from regular acting.
David Collings made quite an impression on me at a young age in 'The Robots of Death'. ;)
Ditto. I mean, I think part of my liking for him may possibly be due to accidentally watching a bit of Assignment Six of Sapphire & Steel when I was too small for such things, but RoD was definitely the one that made the impression!
