I enjoyed it myself, but I did have a really lovely DW prompt for the last day, but I was just too flat to do anything that wouldn't have annoyed me forever afterwards.
Could you go back for it when less flat?
It was popular enough here at the time, but it isn't really well known as such, so I don't think it's surprising it escaped even your interested gaze - it was 35 years ago, and Brit TV had done such a lot of WWII shows across the 70s and the 80s.
It actually looks from my journal as though I ran into mention of Wish Me Luck on my own in 2019 (and asked you about it on general grounds of old telly and then presumably forgot the conversation had taken place in the trauma of the succeeding years) but I maintain that I talk about Leo Marks enough on the internet, someone still should have told me about it sooner!
And as I've mentioned, my parents must have watched it when I was ten and I simultaneously adored it and Matty and Liz and found it the most terrifying bit of nightmare fuel I'd ever seen in a completely fascinating way.
I mean, that doesn't sound inappropriate to resistance work in WWII.
