Aw, glad to oblige! I was looking for things with Shelley Conn earlier in the year and came across it - thought it was v sweet and fun.

I just found someone had done some v nice gifs on tumblr since then, too (although idk if you are okay with moving pixels) - they're here if you want to look.

Have been meaning to reply but, for some reason I can't fathom, I can only see the three tumblr posts I still have bookmarked from when I was still active there; however any new links I click on gets me a great square cookies screen I have to click on before I can see whatever is behind it.

One is befuddled but tumblr is effectively out of reach for me now.

Gah, the coloring in these is so sharp! Beautiful! My faves are 1, 2, 10, 13 really pops, the composition of 14 is brilliant, 29 is very cool, is that Alan Davies in 33? I need to check out that show! (is it available anywhere?), and 36 and 38.

And, yes, that is Alan Davies in Jonathan Creek! I think it would be easy enough to get hold of? I don't immediately know where it's streaming tho' - I have the DVDs, so I've never had to look.

It's from the 90s, but very snappy and good fun - a weird gothic detective drama/comedy series, with Alan as a magician's assistant who solves highly convoluted murders with true crime writer Maddy Magellan. I love s1-3 with Caroline Quentin as Maddy the best, and the couple of specials with Sheridan Smith are pretty good too. (S4, which comes between those, with Julia Sawalha is ok, but it really does have issues, and then the (much) later specials are very hit and miss & some people don't like them at all, so fair warning!
