I was saying to AstroGirl that this meme seems to have been originally designed for one fandom and as a means of exploring brave new ships and that sort of thing, and that we should (for science!) both do it that way. Well, she did Once Upon A Time, so here's Blake's 7.

I don't think so, what with the slight inconvenience in canon that Cally dies before Soolin turns up.

Ohhh... well, I really should have cheated with the list shouldn't I? Okay, people, don't shoot me, but... no! The character's fascinating, his snarkiness remains unbeaten, but I don't see the pretty; I don't see the hotness, no. But don't worry, Paul Darrow does, enough for the rest of the universe. (Avon/Servalan is, though, but that's a whole other thing.)


What would happen if 12 [Carnell] got 8 [Servalan] pregnant?

I suspect, like a spider, she would kill her partner after mating (but then again, he'd probably have predicted that), but then there would either be some terrifying super-intelligent child of evil out there, or, life being what it is, some poor child who turned out to be disappointingly ordinary (if very pretty with nice eyelashes) who got dumped in a Federation orphanage. Either way, the child eventually kills Servalan. (Carnell predicted that, too.)


Can you rec any fics about 9 [Dayna]?

Would 2 [Vila] and 6 [Cally] make a good couple?

You know, I shipped them once the first time round, but ever since, I just can't. Vila would like it, or he'd certainly think he'd like it, and in theory they're not at all the worst pairing - neither of them is evil, Cally seems to think Aurons are compatible with humans, and neither of them would try to kill each other, so that probably counts as a yes.


Would 5 [Gan] and 9 [Dayna]?

Again, they're not evil, though there would be some possibility of them killing each other... but I really, really can't see it and don't especially want to try.


Would 5 [Gan] and 10 [Tarrant]?

No, I just don't think so. Sorry, Gan.


Make up a summary for a 3[Jenna]/10[Soolin] fic.

She's the best pilot in the business; she's a coldly brilliant gun for hire - together they commit crime!

Is there any such thing as 1[Blake]/8 [Servalan] fluff?

Somehow I doubt it, although I haven't read enough of what's out there to safely assume that there isn't. I'm not sure I've come across any Blake/Servalan at all, let alone fluff. Maybe if Blake hadn't left before Ben Steed arrived, it could have been canon. ("Oh, Blake, I was only evil because I was waiting for a GOOD MAN to set me right!") No, really. The only fluff in such a fic would be Servalan's cloak and Blake's hair.


Suggest a title for a 7 [Travis]/12 [Carnell] hurt/comfort fic.

You know, this one just doesn't bear thinking about, really. What the hell are they really up to? Are they bonding over Servalan trying to kill either/both of them? I think this is the best I can do:

"Mutoids and Manipulation"


What kind of plot device would you use if you wanted Four [Avon] to deflower One [Blake]?

Well, gosh, meme, I don't know, but I am pretty sure the internet has many, many answers to that one already. I expect most of them don't talk about deflowering, either. Although probably at least one somewhere does.

If it exists, I expect someone would/has/does. Even if only once.

I don't really think Vila would deliberately try to chat up Tarrant, but it's always an outside possibility that "Fancy a drink?" might wind up there in the right circumstances. Probably more likely would be stealing things, causing trouble and teleporting out before the bar brawl started.


What was the last time you read fic about Five [Gan]?

Ah, yes, poor, Gan! The last one I can remember reading that had significant Gan was Clocket's wonderful On the Far Shore.


What is Six's [Cally's] super-sekrit kink?

Fandom has speculation about this: her weird alien habits! Her love/hatred of ice-cream!

But, personally, I think whatever Cally secret kink is, she's keeping it that way and being silently amused at us.

It's definitely a possibility, yes. Sober, even.

Jenna? (But Travis claims afterwards that he did, obviously.)

I'm not entirely sure it isn't. I think in some seriously disturbing way it probably is.

I remember being intensely attracted to Avon. I still got the idea of my feelings when I rewatched B7... um, last year? (Bleah, my life has been so disrupted. I think it was last year.) But I don't actually need to feel anything any longer, because, indeed, nothing compares to Paul Darrow's regard for Avon's overall glory.

No, your flippancy re: Darrow was no cheaper than some of the ways he himself has behaved, and even though I still see why I found Avon attractive, I just say "Nope, done with that!" now. (Which is also, unfortunately, how I feel about Dirk Benedict from original Battlestar Galactica these days. Words can't express how he used to turn me on, but the man really should've kept his mouth shut over the years. *shudder*)
