First, an absolutely lovely multi-era DW vid, following companions after they've left the Doctor. It brightened my day yesterday, so here's passing it on to you all if you haven't already caught it:
The vid post for it is here. It's a joyous thing, but the best bit is the Brigadier, obviously.
***
And two more
runaway_tales:
The Past Is Neither Dead Nor Distant (PG, 5182 words. Edward Iveson/Julia Graves.) Julia doesn’t like strangers in the house (or mushroom soup), and Edward doesn’t want to talk about his mother. It all comes down to much the same thing, in the end.
And this, which I had far too much fun making (it's technically an art piece, but actually fic in the shape of letters):
Wolves at the Door (and Other Unlikely Tales) (All ages, art. Edward Iveson.) That time the summer term was one unlikely calamity after another (at least, according to Edward).
***
If I'm a little erratic about commenting for a while, bear with me. At this point in August I seem to suffer from stress (summer is a month too long, apparently, and the strain turns into stress just about... now; so it's been for the past three years & at least this year I went "aha!" and stopped before things got worse), so until I feel a little better (which will be very soon! maybe even today!), I shall focus on the creative things.
Take care. ♥

Once I get my proper broadband back tomorrow (instead of the expensive mobile stuff) I have a TON of vids to catch up on - mostly interviews, but also some fanvids.

Hurrah for proper broadband at last! May it all work smoothly for you! ♥

*Fans a breeze up your way*

And I have a breeze! It's all fine, it's just me. (It's, I think, because I never know all the time if it is going to be okay or what I'll be able to do, so by the time I'm over two months into that continual background strain, I just start breaking a little at the edges. But we are nearly there! I just have to keep very very calm so I don't collapse when it's september and spoil autumn.)

I know exactly what you mean by summer being a month too long.

*hugs* I am sorry about the stress. It's good that you spotted it though, that's always such a good thing (I can be rubbish at that myself.) I hope today was better and tomorrow will be EVEN BETTER.

And thank you. ♥ I spotted it due to the cunning clue of it having happened for the same reasons the previous two Augusts. Who says I don't learn things eventually?

OMG, that was the cutest vid of EVER! And yes...they are all survivors and the Brig and Sarah are the best bits out of all of it - and Eeeeee!
Ahem.
Thank you.
*HUGS*

Sorry you're struggling a bit. It's been quite a bit cooler here the last few days, so hopefully that will be true of where you are as well. I do love the heat and the summer, but it definitely seems to be getting hotter. We've had three long hot ones in a row now, and I don't remember that ever happening before. Lots of weather records being broken recently. So if you feel that the summer is a month too long for you, it could be with good reason.

It really hasn't been hot here, though. It's just the way it interferes with my routine and the fact that however okay it is, I have no way of knowing if it won't be later or tomorrow every day for three months or so, I suppose. But we're nearly there. And I'm glad that it has been a pretty cool summer!

I hope you feel better now! *hugs*

And a little, but it'll take a bit more time yet, I think. Thanks! ♥
