And, no, sadly, I don't know when I shall get to listen to The Light at the End. One day, I'm sure - maybe a few anniversaries on! Happily, I've enjoyed everything the BBC have given me so far, though!

They gave me Eight, made Big Finish canon, entertained me, made me cry with unexpected Tom Baker and then allowed Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy to make me laugh harder than I have at anything for ages... and Eleven is free of the Time War. How could I not?

There were no penguins, but I feel like I definitely got some Eight and a party and some multi-Doctor action. So, yes. All the ♥ ♥ ♥ despite lowish expectations. And one day I'll be able to have Big Finish again... and it'll totally be canon. (Except I might argue with the few bits I don't like... they're not, right? :loL:)

I must admit, the Beeb did an astonishingly good job of keeping the secret of Paul's and Tom's involvement. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but somehow they pulled it off, and I'm SO glad they did. I'd have hated to know about either in advance.

And yes, The Five-ish Doctors Reboot was brilliant - so much loving mockery, and self-mockery there. I cackled with laughter rather a ridiculous number of times while watching it this morning.

Thanks for the birthday wish! I finally got to see the show today, and was quite pleased with my birthday present. (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.)

As soon as I saw the back of Tom's head I knew who it was, and I actually squealed.
