More Things I Made for Comms...
Before I forget again...
Orac/Nyssa drabble for
b7love_250.
24 icons from The West Wing & Press Gang (9 text, 15 images) for the current
fan_flashworks challenge 'breakfast'.
And, other than that, I don't know. Tired, but okay? Hmm, talking of one of my comms reminds me. I most post the discussion post on
dw_straybunnies that I've had ready for a month or so. *notes to do later* (Lunch etc first.)

Actually, I am watching King Lear at the moment (it stayed at £1 on Amazon, so I nabbed it). It's v good, I agree completely! Also still listening to MC in between - and that nasty Jonas wants to kill Tom Pinch/David Collings! *gasp*
:-D

Yes, King Lear is VERY good. Amazing...
I shall start MC this week, I think - and just resign myself to listening to it in stages.
(*Is in dire need of more MK icons. Why can't I make good icons?!*)
no subject
Well, as to MC, the BBC and Dickens both intended it to be heard in installments, so why not?
Icons are difficult. Sometimes they work out and sometimes they all go wrong. You made some nice ones before, though! But you could send me some screencaps again, if you like & I'll have a go. I seem to be able to make them again - earlier in the year I just stopped.

Ahem!
(Sorry, I didn't get much sleep last night - the students in the shared house just down the road had their end of the year all night party - and played VERY loud music from 7pm to 6.30 AM (this morning!) I've got to the silly stage of my reaction to my exhaustion. Once I hit the sullen stage, I shall go to bed!)
Because I do enjoy listening to the whole lot in one swell foop!
Thank you! I warn you, you may find yourself bombarded though!

Well, you'd probably have to stop for the horrible US accents anyway. ;-p
I wish you luck in finding more romantic Michael Kitchen roles,
Well, best not to bombard me, please!! Just fire a few of your fave screencaps at me, and I'll see what I can do.
:-)

LOL I don't tend to mind dodgy US accents that much - Big Finish have more or less inured me to them!
Thanks!
Okay - I'm just sorting some out now...

Anyway, I got your email, thanks, so I've downloaded the pics and will have a play with them later on in the week. (And, don't worry, I know by now that you want your icons as plain as possible! Just the pretty people...)

Yes, I'm such a dullard. I get very irritated with icons which are fancied up so much that you can barely make out who's in the pic!
And thank you! I tried not to go too overboard with them - it wasn't easy picking just one or two per show/film!
no subject
Aw, no. You're not a dullard! Everybody prefers different things. And, of course, sometimes people are making icons for challenges and 20in20s, so it's like doing little works of art, and they'll experiment more with those & that's why some sets are like that. I like a bit of the pretty as well, if I can - a bit of text, or colour, or texture or a nice border - but i like to be able to see the person/character I wanted in the icon, too. (I think

Hmm, well that sounds okay, I guess - decoration that doesn't hide the person's face. I saw some Freema icons recently that really irritated me by obscuring her face with weird lighting and what-not - what a waste, when she's so beautiful!
