More Storytime!
Aug. 11th, 2008 07:00 pmOf course, it's not only the Simm Master who likes to tell stories at the creche. All sorts of characters have been roped in, either by Izzy, or trying to carry out some evil plot.
Other narrators (1)
Barbara - Izzy asks the most sensible person she can think of to tell the children a classic story. She was thinking Winnie-the-Pooh, but Barbara tried Pride and Prejudice.
This came about because a) I'm insane; b) Sarah was born to be Elizabeth Bennet and Harry was obviously Mr Bingley. The only trouble with this was that the cast list soon became inhabited by UNIT-era Who characters and that left only one logical candidate for Mr Darcy, but it came as a shock to him, everyone else involved (and me, for that matter).
(Please note I wasn't clear about which chapters should get archived, so I'll have to link to each part separately, otherwise Part 1 doesn't have the obvious joke. It still should be better, though).

Date: 2011-10-27 12:41 am (UTC)Anyway - I have been and gotten myself an online bookmarking account (finally), so I am poking round bookmarking things. Starting, of course, with the ones I always find myself scrounging for and unable to locate. And anyway, I thought I might as well try to leave reviews for all of them while I'm at it.
(Not that I am any good at reviewing. o_O)

Out of interest, where are you using for bookmarks? I had all mine on delicious and then it actually did go all to pieces when it got taken over. I've escaped to Diigo instead for the moment. (It's very distracting. Don't try to start cataloguing the entire internet... Or is that just me. ;-D)

I, er, may well be cataloguing the entire internet? *g* Well, probably not. Just the bits I've read, and the bits I am reading. But I make a conservative estimate that I've read many thousands of fanfics in the last, hrm, three or four years... most of which I can only find again by, essentially, keeping an entire tagging system and search engine IN MY HEAD. So I'm sort of transferring that tagging system to Pinboard, bit by bit, so that I can then use the freed-up mental hard-drive space for, you know, college and work and suchlike. ;P

Heh. If enough of us try hard enough, we'll catalogue sometime soon, right? ;-)

Date: 2012-11-30 10:13 am (UTC)Thank you! I am still not entirely pleased with it, but I see that now I am outnumbered, I must be wrong and it is more awesome than I realise.
Heh, I do miss Storytime! occasionally.
