1. The Yuletide tagset is live! Time to see which favourite tiny fandoms unexpectedly made it in...


2. The BBC are putting Classic Who on iPlayer, or some of it certainly, from Nov 1st to celebrate the 60th. If you're in the UK and want an easy way to check out old Doctors, now you have one!


3. S5 of BBC's Ghosts dropped last Friday. I meant to watch one a day, but as I finished it yesterday and started on Saturday, you can tell that that resolution held out. (It's only six eps! It was very sweet and funny as ever and then they made me cry again, damn their eyes! <3<3<3 I must remember to unblock the tag on tumblr again now I can no longer be spoiled.)

1. Last night was Comic Relief, which apparently meant that we got this wonderful extra little bit of (BBC) Ghosts to enjoy:

2. Still time to sign up for no_true_pair's mini round! (Well, I say still time; I signed up after the prompts were posted last time and it was fine - as long as you don't look at the prompts first). But it's basically like the 15 Characters Meme, but you actually try to write the fic, and only 4 characters for this mini-round. It's very laid back, no penalties, no pressure. Just make a little list of characters and get some shiny prompts to play with, why not? ♥


3. New icon comms keep sprouting all the time! I don't think I've kept up at all, but here are two more cool-looking ones for those who like icon-making, or just want places to rifle for the pretties - screen_icons (making icons from provided screencaps - via capspiration) and retro_icontest for reusing challenges from defunct icon comms.

I'm still feeling rotten, but here's something to brighten up anyone's day - festivids has gone live! All the vids are here.

I've only just started, but I squeaked to find one for Malory Towers, Emma Peel, and Ghosts (and the two of those I've watched as yet were A++) - and much more! Plus, I can spy plenty of things I know you lot are into.
