I've had this fic (for hc_bingo square "secret identity revealed") hanging around almost finished for a while, so I've finally done the last tweaks & here goes. I always said one day I was going to write a Spooks fic where there really was an apocalypse and Tom ran the country while Ruth ran him*, although I'm not sure this was what I had in mind...

dweomeroflight asked for Danny/Zoe, or anything from S1-3 of Spooks. I hope these will answer (and now that my icons are getting respectable, I'll really have to make some more Spooks screencaps - these are from the beginning of 2.6, which along with the whole of 2.5 are my only caps, so I was a bit limited). Anyway, some Danny and Zoe and early Spooksiness, if nothing else:

I got so Spooks-nostalgic over my other post, I had to go and watch my favourite episode (2.05) and I'm going to ramble about why I love it, because spoilers for this episode are slightly different to any other ep. I lent S2 to my youngest sister and she returned it with a thank you very much and 'I liked all of it, except that really silly episode...' Yes. And I can see why, but she's so, so wrong. ;-)

2.05 was written by Howard Brenton - Section D know they're going to take part in an EERIE exercise (MI5's Really Dramatic version of a fire drill) and this seems to be it - or is it all true?
