Beyond the Roundels

I wanted to make a post, but my head is a blank. I'm sure there are things I could say, but I don't know what they are.

Anyway, after finishing the no_true_pair random pieces I wrote for rainbowfic, I was all 'well now I shall get back to the other plot arc that I had just got to the interesting bit at last, yay' and then of course immediately got distracted into writing more pieces for the other time period to fit the new community challenge at RainbowFic that got posted after.

So, I'm crossposting the first of these, but first, to prove Other Arc really is a Thing and I have not forgotten, and to try and force myself to get used to Evil New Graphics Program, I tried to make a pretty banner for said arc, and managed two:
