Two marvellous fics I've been lucky to have written for me of late! I don't think I posted the Sixathon one here before, did I? (And [livejournal.com profile] sixathon has produced some lovely fics, you should go check it out, if you haven't already.)

So, my gift in the 2013 Sixathon:

Entanglements (4365 words) by ponygirl
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Doctor Who, Doctor Who (1963), Doctor Who (2005), Doctor Who (Big Finish Audio), Doctor Who & Related Fandoms
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: The Doctor/River Song
Characters: Sixth Doctor, Evelyn Smythe, River Song
Additional Tags: Timey-Wimey, They keep meeting in the wrong order, The TARDIS is a sneaky so-and-so
Summary:

The Doctor has made it very clear to Evelyn that he is not interested in romantic entanglements. It's one of the things they agree on, actually.

(And, yes, it is as good as that all sounds and Ponygirl gave me my Evelyn & Six prompt, and then threw in a bonus Eleven-era character from one of my others. \o/)

And something that [personal profile] aralias wrote for me, for... well, I think because I sort of grumble-rambled the other day. Clearly, I should do that more often, because wonderfully cracky B7 fic ensued:

D(ams)el in Distress: Five Times Dayna and the Scorpio Crew Saved Tarrant (3239 words) by aralias
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Blake's 7
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Relationships: Dayna Mellanby&Del Tarrant
Characters: Dayna Mellanby, Del Tarrant, Kerr Avon, Vila Restal, Soolin (Blake's 7)
Additional Tags: Damsel in Distress, Fake/Pretend Relationship
Summary:

For a young, handsome Space Captain, Del Tarrant certainly needs a lot of rescuing. Fortunately, Dayna Mellanby is not your average damsel.

Title: Temporary Truce
Author: [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook
Rating: All ages
Word Count: 2044
Characters/Pairings: Sixth Doctor, Peri Brown, the Rani
Notes/Warnings: None. There is some technobabble that I hope – in the spirit of Pip and Jane – makes no sense whatsoever.
Summary: The Doctor and Peri need to persuade the Rani to hitch a ride with them, just this once.

For [livejournal.com profile] femme_slash_fan in the 2013 [livejournal.com profile] sixathon from the prompt: Six & Peri/Rani. Apologies for lack of more than a fleeting edge of shippiness, but I hope that you enjoy this anyway. Thanks to [personal profile] aralias for the beta.

1. I need to work on titles of posts.

2. [livejournal.com profile] sixathon is happening! You can sign up now (until April 12th) at the comm, or its Dreamwidth mirror, [community profile] sixathon if you prefer. \o/

3. I am ordering something on Amazon, but two of the marketplace sellers seem to be having a mini-price war over the thing I want. Every time I go back to my basket, it's gone a few pence cheaper. So I'm hanging on for a bit longer. I don't know when one of them will concede defeat and then it'll stop, but it's amusing me and saving me pennies. (Literally.)

4. Doctor Who tonight!

5. I'm sure there was something else I meant to say.

At last! My effort for the 2009 [livejournal.com profile] sixathon.

Title Field Trip
Author [livejournal.com profile] lost_spook
Rating All ages
Word Count 5269
Characters Sixth Doctor, Peri Brown, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright. And half of 1F.
Summary Ian and Barbara encounter an unexpected danger on the school trip. Luckily, the Doctor is there to come to their rescue. In a manner of speaking…

Written for [livejournal.com profile] infiniteviking who requested Ian and Barbara, chaperoning a dozen kids on a school trip, encounter an alien menace and are rescued by Six. Unfortunately, getting out of danger is easier than getting back to civilization. Cue thirty hours trapped on a TARDIS that refuses to go where it's told, during which the Doctor and his increasingly amused companions have to entertain a group of scared ten-year-olds. The sillier, the better! The youngest they could be was eleven and I haven’t counted out the hours, but hopefully this is silly enough to amuse. I know it was 3rd prompt, but once I’d seen it, how could I possibly write anything else?

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] persiflage_1 for kindly doing the beta-reading. Any remaining errors are therefore All My Fault.
