Doctor Who Random Title Generator
Aug. 9th, 2012 05:45 pmJust saw this - The Generator of Doctor Who Episode Titles
It was more entertaining than I'd expected, even given my liking for these things - I got The Amy's Terror of the Polo. And The Dalek Daleks of Delta.
The worst thing is, you can just see Eleven and Amy having an adventure that involves an evil Polo. Or, at least, I can... (My brain, I know.)
:-)
ETA: The Ghost Daleks of the Fireplace
The Unknown
Ultimate Daleks
The Christmas Daleks
The Abominable Rescue of Kroll
ETA 2: Mawdryn Meddler of the Waters
The Mawdryn State
The Silver Library
(Yes. Sorry.)
ETA3: The Next Time
Fireplace of the Celestial Romans
The Light to the Shakespeare Highlanders
ETA4: You really wouldn't think you'd get the Shakespeare Highlanders more than once, but look:
The Empty Last in the Shakespeare Highlanders

Yes, I think I could go on for a while, too. LOL I got The Doctors. (The 50th Anniversary special, surely? Heh.)
The Power of Death and The Doom of the Androids sound like good solid classic Who titles, yes. I approve.
I think I kind of want a cracky comment ficathon for this now... (Especially The Abominable Rescue of Kroll...)

The Nemesis of the Fire.
The Vampires of the Forest. Not more blood-sucking fish!
The Experiment of the Shakespeare Dances makes me kinda want to see Shakespeare dance...
Death of Infinity!
Space Fear!
The Stolen Family - not the Ponds again, I hope.
Gods, I've got to stop!

Date: 2012-08-09 07:07 pm (UTC)And you don't need to know much Doctor Who to get that Classic Who has a tendency to do The Terror/Horror/Invasion of the X, The X of DOOM/DEATH etc.
I quite liked The Fireplace of the Celestial Romans as well. And everything with the Shakespeare Highlanders. :-)
The Dead of the Underworld is at least logical. And The Lazraus London sounds like an apocalyptic novel of some sort.

The Myth Library of the Empty London
Earth of the Shakespeare State
And, aw, that doesn't sound good. :-/ Sorry to hear that.

Date: 2012-08-09 07:55 pm (UTC)Yes, I like The Ghost Daleks of the Fireplace! There you are with your stockings hanging up, tinsel all about - and there are creepy translucent Daleks coming down the chimney instead of
killer robotsFather Christmas. I should send a note to Mr Moffat.no subject

Date: 2012-08-10 07:11 am (UTC)Where would be the fun, if not? :-)
I love that they come out as a mix of the mundane, the truly head-scratchingly bizarre, a few intriguing ones, and others that sound like an over-eager fan submitting a script written in crayon. Oh, and very occasionally, the actual titles.
(For instance, I got The Game of the Dead, and The Silver Wasp among others that were quite cool/intriguing. What however, you'd do with The Eleventh Timelash, I don't know.)
And... oh, no!!! Not the Curse of the Idiot's Revenge!! (It might be another adventure for the Curse of Fatal Death Doctor. Heh.)

Date: 2012-08-10 04:32 pm (UTC)Ma personal favs:
Time Daleks
The Doctor's Last
Celestial Earth
The Planet of the Twin Dalek's
Satan Wheel
The Satan Evil of the Mysterious Unicorn
Especially the last one begs to be used - sounds somewhat tennish I think :)

Nature of Pompeii (which I'm pretty sure was what Pliny the Elder was actually aiming to write, until he got himself killed in the eruption)
I should perhaps clarify that by `Claws of the Web Evil', I intended to indicate `gripping nature of this little Internet toy that is simple-minded, yet a little too endlessly entertaining'. ;)
