One of the most fun things about fandom has to be those times when you get the chance to persuade someone into trying a show, and then watch them fall in love with it just like you did. What's even better is when it all ends in Moar Fic.

So, clocketpatch has watched Blake's 7 (in shorter time than I knew was possible - she may have set a new world record) and now - fic! Excellent Zen-centric fic that all my fellow rebels should go and read. I'm sure any of you who know her Doctor Who fic already won't even need my rec.

:lol: I watched B7 several years ago now, so if you've been coping so far, I'm sure you'll be okay. On the other hand, if you feel the need for another cracky yet awesome 1970s/80s British SF show in your life, it is a pretty good one. ;-)

Yay, Zen! Now I've finished my Holiday reading(!), I can read short stuff again, 'tis weird.

What is the world record? Guiness need to know.

Thank you for the rec. I'm not sure it's all that great since I'm still trying to get a handle on the characters. I think that Zen probably sounds distinctly Orac-y in a few places and says Information more often than he ever would on the show (and gives away more information than he ever would, but Avon is at least surprised by that).

Also, thank you again for your excellent introductory post and being so perky about this show for the last few years. I am absolutely head over heels for this new fandom, and that hasn't happened for quite a while. It's refreshing and glee! Now I've just got to figure out how to get a hold of this Paul Darrow/Microphone crack you were mentioning on my journal because with a description like that? How can I resist?
