Really work isn't bad at all today. Myself, an intern, and one coworker are here, there's no classes and no clients. Without my boss, we are all quietly doing our own forms of fucking around. Mine is teaching myself Scrivener and working on what might someday be a novel.

Could be so much worse. Truly.

Ouch. I wouldn't have heard any rumours, so no expectations, but it certainly knocked me sideways. I was six. Heroes didn't die! My older sister had been a huge fan all along, and I know it really upset her.

I've always heard talk of Chris Boucher being "the man who killed Christmas", but to have your birthday ruined as well really sucks. You deserve some sort of "I Survived Gauda Prime" badge!
