Hmm, I don't know, I think they're pretty good at this. Sometimes I didn't get Robin Hood, and sometimes Rumple's choices frustrate me.
interactions I enjoyed the most There are lots, but Emma and Regina, in any way! But also the unexpectedly fun thing that Hook and Charming do whenever they get together.
the character who scares me the most I think Peter Pan may have been the scariest so far. And that I get to say that is probably one of the reasons I still stick with OUaT!
the character who is mostly like me Not really, but Belle. She's a librarian, a bookworm, and loves the research, and she likes to hope for the best and believe that people will change instead of condemning them, but not in the sense that I have ever been carried off to a castle by the Dark One and then married them, nor am I that pretty.
hottest looks character Regina. And then Hook. (I feel that they would both agree that this is obviously true and that Regina would feel it was clearly this way round.) Also Red! Ooh, and Merlin! And probably other one off people I forgotten, because it's full of very pretty people, like most US TV.
one thing I dislike about my fave character There are sometimes when she's a little bit sappy instead of sarcastic, but you can't have everything. (Regina is my favourite.)
one thing I like about my hated character Do I hate anyone in OUaT?
... oh wait, yes. I do. I hated Neal a lot. Um, I think, I like his relationship with Hook and his former child self. His former child self was possibly the prettiest child ever. And he was a decent person! My hate was unfair!
a quote or scene that haunts me And here is where I pause, because my memory is like a sieve! I think maybe the nearest I can think of is where Regina talks about how much she hates being good but does it anyway, at the end of S5.
Also, I think the bit with the clock moving at the end of the pilot still has quite a lot of power. (And its little echo in the Underworld, where Regina gets a similar moment in the 100th episode too.)
a death that left me indifferent There may have been quite a few extras and not-fully fleshed out characters who'd qualify. Possibly poor Robin who so rarely got the chance to do anything or have a proper character, but I may have been a bit unfair to him.

I don't wish anyone else had died, but I suppose I do have to note that, Hook, if you're going to die THREE TIMES in one season, you ought to have had the decency for one of them to stick! (Not that I want to lose Hook, but that's probably a record.)
my ship that never sailed EMMA/REGINA. One day! (Yeah, I know. They had a beautiful Swan Queen AU in alternate reality for about five minutes, though, and it was wonderful until [redacted] turned up.)

I think I've had to try and say this before, and I can't really: I look a little like Ace in colouring, but am probably more like Sarah except much shyer and less brave, so not really.

It seems kind of wrong to say Five, because he's always palely fainting, but let's face it, young Peter Davison. It also seems wrong to say the Brig, because the Brig, but S7-ish Brig may be the correct answer here. It's just also wrong. Also the original Master and Romana I.
(You can tell I'm not a mutated villanous alien with issues, because I didn't say Peri.)

So many! I have been a DW fan for so long, I am shaped and haunted by so much of it. Probably, as I've said before, Seven's speech to Helen A at the end of Happiness Patrol, that happiness and sadness are two sides of one coin etc.

Don't be silly, I've read the NAs, and the MAs, and the EDAs, and the PDAs - they ALL died! ;-p
Maybe Peri, but not really, except I can't help feeling that marrying space BRIAN BLESSED is a fate that may actually be worse than death. Maybe my answer to the first question should have been, "Peri." But OTOH, the poor thing didn't have much choice.

Probably Flynn, really. I suspect it would help a lot if I got hold of the film trilogy.

I think the general team interactions are probably the show highlight, so Eve, Jenkins, Cassandra, Jake & Ezekiel, and Flynn when he's dropping by. If you pin me down and force me to narrow it down, probably Jenkins & Ezekiel, who have gone from being the most opposite to having an understanding that's about as good as it gets with Jenkins.

I don't know that I am that scared by anyone in it? It did have the scariest bad Cockney accent ever in the Santa episode, so maybe that person.

They're all such geniuses, so nobody! But, OTOH, they're all librarians, so obv. they are all me.

Being a female, naturally I have to say Cassandra, because what right-thinking female doesn't fancy Cassandra? ;-p (Actually, probably Cassandra. I don't know. Everybody's fairly pretty, except Jenkins, nobody's standing out to me.)

Um, that I didn't like him so well to begin with? Otherwise, basically I am over here drawing little hearts round Jenkins since the end of S1.

I don't think I have one! Flynn can be a little annoying, but he's also fun and I like him, too. Like Eve, I just feel he should stand still for a few moments, thank you.

When we realised who the S1 baddie and Jenkins were, perhaps? Or, no, I think the scene in the S2 finale where they save Shakespeare with his own words, which are simultaneously so appropriate for each of the four characters saying them. That really stayed in my mind.

I'm not sure. Probably, but I'm trying to remember if anyone much has died who wasn't a doomed person in the teaser or something. If there was, I've forgotten them so...

Possibly. They are very Flynn focussed and if nothing else you'd see where he comes from. But I think he is generally a bit spotty and inconsistent, which doesn't help.

I don't know - I feel EatD is pretty good at making you understand where characters are coming from, even when you don't agree with them. There were some, like Peter and Olive, it took me longer to get the first time, but I did before the end. I suppose Terence Hardiman's Prussian officer is a bit random, maybe?
interactions I enjoyed the most
Lots, to be honest, but it's got to be Dr Martel and Major Richter! It's so hard when the person you'd most like to be friends with is the enemy! And what do you do when they resign from the committee and you won't have any official reason to see them again? Why, obviously you pine for them and then connive and manoeuvre and get them back on the committee, where they ought to be. Among many other things.
I do enjoy all the officer-interaction and politicking, though. And the rare times that Richter meets Olive.
the character who scares me the most
Reinicke. The scariest thing about Reinicke is it's so easy to see how he got to be where he is, how recognisable a character he is, and what a chilling path he's set himself on.
the character who is mostly like me
I don't think I'm much like any of the regulars, really! I do over-identify with Cecily Brown, the librarian, but I'm not sure I'm as fierce or as brave as her, either.
hottest looks character
I suppose there's wee Anthony Head, but he's more cute than hot at this point. According to the novelisation, Clare is the hottest and most beautiful thing ever invented, and they do have a point about Emily Richard, but again, I'm not sure 'hot' is the world.
There are some pretty/attractive guest stars, though. I'd say Martin Jarvis, but not with that dodgy accent, despite his nice suit.
However, let it be said that while Frank Marker is never, ever hot and Alfred Burke may be sixty, as Richter he can really pull off that army greatcoat like no one else in the series. *looks innocent*

I suppose that would be Richter, just. Um... well, that he has flaws is part of what I like, so it's hard to say. But he can be very blind to the full consequences of some things, I suppose.
one thing I like about my hated character
Do I hate anyone? I mean, Reinicke maybe, but in exactly the way I'm supposed to, I think. So, I suppose that it's entirely possible to see that Reinicke could easily, in different circumstances, have been a better person. Probably still an annoying colleague anywhere, but there are definitely some good instincts in there he's been turning away from, nor is he always stupid or wrong, unfortunately.

Probably the scene where Martel is released from prison and he and Richter have a conversation about it ("That is the nature of humanity: first survive," and Martel's "You don't know, do you?"), but almost everything around that whole storyline and the episodes that bridge S1 and 2: the Martels on trial, Clare walking into the sea, Philip & Olive's reunion...
But there's an awful lot of the series that resonated with me so hard when I first watched it - it's why it's still the one above all of them that I rewatch the most.

Um. I was going to say, I don't know that I truly ship anything except as it is in the show, although maybe it counts that I wanted to see it end, and I wanted Martel & Richter to meet up again sometime. But I suppose I do kind of ship those two generals in ep10 (James Maxwell and Joss Ackland) because doomed Julius Caesar overtones is apparently not something I can resist.

Krycek? I expect he had an explanation I've forgotten, but he seemed to be a bit random in his evil, and got black-oil infected and things. I have no idea what his story was, although, to be fair, that is probably my fault for not paying attention/forgetting stuff over the last two decades.
I'm not sure I really understand the Cigarette Smoking Man, either, but then I think he's supposed to be a mystery.

Mulder and Scully! Mulder's OTT theories, Scully's reactions, everything.

Um. I only saw it once, but I think Eugene Tombs (Tooms?) was so scary I couldn't watch the two episodes with him in.

I don't think I'm like anyone I can think of! I am, like Scully in being female and short, though, so there's that.

Ummm... *tries hard to think of something I don't like about Scully* Maybe sometimes when she's a bit too sceptical about things that she saw for herself, but then, that's the show.

It's probably because I had it on VHS and rewatched it more than anything else, but there's a lot of the pilot that stayed in my head: the first alien abduction storyline, and it felt a bit rougher around the edges, and maybe so a little more real, and that was new to me, and creepy, and Mulder and Scully meeting, and the scene where Scully gets Mulder to check her back by candlelight.
I'm sure I have a better answer, because I did watch and rewatch and love a lot of this series, but that's the first thing coming into my head right now. A lot of the things that stuck with me are Mulder/Scully things, if I'm honest! (Just as well I was never in the fandom; I'd have been right in the middle of that ship war.)

Um, I think there were maybe people who didn't stay dead, but I can't remember. I was that indifferent. Maybe. Or maybe I wasn't, but I've forgotten.

I suppose I'd have been quite happy for Krycek to die instead of get possessed and come back all scary-eyed (urgh), but that would have been tough luck on the slashers.

Does Mulder/Scully count at this point? The show's coy, but they seem to have had a child, lost them, been married, split up... I don't know. It sailed, foundered but still sails on, I think.
Scully/Skinner, though, I wouldn't have wanted to happen exactly, but simultaneously have a still-burning fannish wish for.
