Summer & TARDIS Library

1. It's now summer, so please bear with me if I am not able to keep up with my flist. It's the worst time of the year, I suffer from a lot of stress, and, in purely practical terms, my PC time often gets completely halved if it is at all sunny, so if you see me around still making posts or other small things but not commenting (or vice versa), it's just summer, sorry. We'll see how it goes, but everything's just kind of weather permitting from now on.


2. One of the small, cheerful things I hope to still do on occasions is take part in the second tardis_library Reccer's Bingo, and here is my card:

*hugs* My sympathies on summer stress. Let's hope that it won't be a terribly hot year... (Though it's already been quite warm.)

Should try to get started on my bingo card soon, so that I don't again delay it until the last week. :-D I also need to post some recs for this month's theme - I've got at least one I've been sort of saving up. ;-)

At least so far sunshine and heat have been in short supply. I hope for your sake it continues like that. I don't like hot weather myself, but at least it doesn't make me unwell.

Thanks! It's very nice and cool here, but it's turned sunny and unfortunately, that's all it takes. I can't really wish a summer without sunshine on everyone, though, but I hope for the coolness to continue and look forward to doing away with all these unnecessary hours of daylight that are so inconvenient!

Yes, at this time of year even on a cool day if you're in direct sunlight
it's pretty fierce. Your researches into your family tree haven't turned up any vampire ancestors, by any chance? How are you with garlic and crucifixes?

You have my sympathies. My brain starts to dribble out of my ears once it gets hot and humid here and it stays hot and humid for about 8 months! Ack!

Understandable. The heat, humidity, constant light, and oppressive droughts suck the energy out of everything, It sucks twice as hard when you're ill and unable to frolic in the waves of the ocean like a friggin' dolphin the way everyone else can. (I'm bitter.) Hang in there.

Ha, no vampires - it's just my illness! Not that I've ever been one for hot climates, but I would have thoroughly enjoyed the kind of weather we're having now before this relapse. Hopefully, I'll be that bit better again this year and cope a little more, but it just makes things harder, really.

It's nice here, really, it's just me. There is no need for quite so much sunlight last thing in the day when my window faces full west!!

Well, you have my sympathies then! It rarely gets very hot here - fingers crossed - but due to extra sunlight and west-facing windows and me falling over with exhaustion if I have the windows open for long while I'm in the room, it just all gets extra tiring and horrible very fast!

I'm very glad I don't have to cope with much actual heat and humidity, although I suppose if I lived somewhere like that, I'd have air conditioning anyway...

It isn't hot here and - hopefully - won't be, but a whole lot of stupid circumstances about my illness all add up to a summer nightmare, so thank you! <3
