I was going to make a proper post with more things in, but guess what?

festivids is live! (festivids is basically the vidding equivalent of yuletide and it is amazing. If you like vids at all, go forth and rifle through it and enjoy.)

BUT ALSO, I looked at the fandoms listed this morning when impatient for reveals to happen and THERE WAS SAPPHIRE & STEEL!! Readers, readers, when it went live, the vid itself did not disappoint - it captures the sheer weirdness of the show and its central duo so well.

I am now off to see what else the collection has to offer, but a brilliant S&S vid in a world that sadly has far too few S&S vids must obviously eclipse all else for me.

No, I haven't made a vid for years now! But I do love them, and I love going through festivids collection when it comes round again.

Eu já ouvi falar dessa série porque um dos atores era o maravilhoso David McCallum que interpretou Duck em NCIS e Illya em TMFU. Além de ser o cara por trás do toque de uma das músicas mais icônicas do Snoop Dogg (The Next Episode). Eu já li uma fic crossover de tmfu/s&s mas só conheço a série por algumas imagens e informações que acho online. Nunca cheguei a assistir, no entanto sempre me pareceu incrível.

It is a very unusual and fascinating series! He is very good in it, as is Joanna Lumley, playing Sapphire to his Steel.

Já ouvi dizer que algumas pessoas tem dificuldade de fazer fic da série por sua complexidade e modo incomum de ser. Mas a que eu li estava tão perfeita e corrente com o que a Wikipédia dizia que eu senti que deveria haver mais sobre u.u

It is very unusual, so it can be tricky to write for - but, yes, plenty of people have done it beautifully!

As always, thanks for sharing festivids being live! Also, yay for Sapphire and Steel vid!! Having watched both the series and the vid, I totally agree it captures "the sheer weirdness of the show" and it's mains. B-)

Ha, my pleasure! As you can tell, I was delighted by the unexpected S&S vid, but there were a fair few other goodies in it as usual, and a couple more I still need to watch yet.
