I think, if I'd been participating, I wouldn't have written any more and I'd feel guiltier.

It's the weekend, not just one day. It's about encouraging people, not boasting about wordage, so if you aren't writing much, you just say what you've managed and encourage other people. It's fun, sometimes very helpful. That's all. I've been participating and all I've done is some editing.
