My verdict on the whole series (I'll come back to Blake & S4 at some point):

Never has something so genuinely and fundamentally bleak been so much fun!


Seriously, as velvetfascism said to me, if you're a DW fan (and you don't start freaking out when monsters come wrapped in bubblewrap, or tinfoil, or tinsel), you really should watch this. (I should add, in her defence, that velvetfascism didn't say anything about bubblewrap. That was me.)
