Fandom Snowflake: Day 11 & Day 7

Day 11: Stretch yourself a little and try something new. Go play in a new fandom or with a new pairing or trope. Try creating a different kind of fanwork. Or check out some types of fanworks that are new to you.

I meant to post this yesterday, and I had been trying some new techniques with icons. (Nothing that special, but a few odd different things). So I say that still counts, even if I'm late with the post!


Day 7: In your own space, create a fanwork. A drabble, a ficlet, a podfic, or an icon, art or meta or a rec list. A picspam. Something.

I can make stuff! Yes. *nods* So, I am off to post an icon set for House of Eliott (not the icons in question, and, as ever with image posts, only on LJ), which I actually made in August and September, and a fic I finally finished editing this morning. The icons are quite nice (hopefully), but the fic is of no interest to anyone (really!), so I might as well make it count for something by including it here for snowflake_challenge.

Aww, thank you! But, no, seriously! I'll have to get it posted up at AO3, but I know it's not going to be anything anybody else is very interested - overlong, gloomy, present-tense, five times, future fic for Enemy at the Door!

Oh. Didn't you send me that? Or did I dream it?(Sorry, second half of last year is something of a blur as a consequence of that 3 month stint of working non-stop while the boss was on his hols - well, that and the writing frenzy.)

I did indeed - must have been around October or something, maybe. But it'd have hardly have been something cheery to get you through the winter...! :-)

But, yeah. I'm pretty sure you told me it arrived okay.

I have a couple of padded envelopes with various TV shows on DVD that folks have sent me - so I just wandered over to check, and they are, indeed, there.

(I will get around to watching it - eventually...)
