clocketpatch, I'm sorry I've neglected your drabble for the meme below (I've only got 4 requests filled - people can still make one if they want! Go on!), but this was why and given that you suggested it (even if, evil mind that I am, I was already trying to write it), you may forgive me.

Dependent on when it appears on Teaspoon, of course.

And I've spent most of today writing out one (longhand, so you're all safe for a bit) for Image of the Fendahl. (It nearly turned into an epic).

I do love your Victorian Gentleman voice! I really need to find an excuse to write someone saying "dash it all". Anyway, I think I got the general idea but I am entirely in the dark about the jade?

Thank you! Just stumbling along behind the late great Robert Holmes on this one, I must admit. And I'm sure you'll work a Victorian in there somewhere. These things can be done by someone with ingenuity. :-)

Jade is an insult for a female of uncertain morals, originally, although Jago uses it more as "The heartless female." (It also means a worn out horse).

Indeed. (But that's why you get 'jaded' to mean tired, disillusioned, from the horse meaning, that is.)
