(Although to be fair, usually she gets assigned to me, whereas I think I've only got her once before.)
Anyway, that meant I got to write some B7 Tarrant/Dayna fic (which, lol, was not super-popular over at the fest):
Ghost Lights (4930 words) by lost_spook
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Blake's 7
Rating: Teen And Up Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Dayna Mellanby/Del Tarrant
Characters: Del Tarrant, Dayna Mellanby
Additional Tags: Season/Series 03, Grief/Mourning, References to canon character deaths, post episode s03e12 deathwatch, Explosions
Summary: While out on a mission, Dayna and Tarrant find the past catching up with them in a particularly dangerous fashion.
(I did write something else as well, but more about that anon, hopefully before the end of the day.)

Date: 18 Mar 2017 01:26 pm (UTC)Although, I do need to be assigned to someone who isn't an flister soon - I've been good, I've offered all sorts and yet for the last four years the only time I've been assigned to anyone I wasn't already friends with was last year's NPT, which I had to default on due to dental surgery! Although, on the bright side, no dodgy recipients at all!
Well, it was a tiny fest and B7 is hardly a large fandom. It's just a little frustrating because it didn't get picked up in the fandom feed and B7 actually does have an actively commenting fandom on tumblr that follows the feed, but, hey, if I wrote for big fandoms and got masses of comments, I'd probably die of shock or something. As it is, it's something that happens once a year at Yuletide, but only if I'm really lucky or I write Miss Marple fic...
But thank you! Thanks for your cake fic, and for being a lovely recipient (again)!

Date: 19 Mar 2017 02:14 pm (UTC)I either write for small fandoms or the things no one is interested in in big fandoms (ie gen) so I don't know what it's like to get masses of comments. I don't know how I'd deal with that happening and having to reply to them all!
I feel like I can't write B7 any more because I've written 7 fics :)

Date: 19 Mar 2017 02:32 pm (UTC)I've written some things that count as 'masses' for me (like 10 or 15, even, and some of that have slowly racked up more over time) so I would say the same, except my Miss Marple fic for this Yuletide got recced by an author who has an LJ and now I've got 30+ comments on it. Which still isn't masses by mega-fandom standards, but it's pretty wonderful and amazing as far as I'm concerned! (It's always who you know, isn't it? Heh.)
I feel like I can't write B7 any more because I've written 7 fics :)
LOL, but who are Blake's 7, there's never seven of them! It would be out of keeping with B7 to stick at the correct number. ;-p

30+ is definitely masses. As is 10-15. Although I went and looked at my AO3 stats and the graph for comments shows my top fics are between 9.75 and 10.50 comments. I don't know how you get three quarters of a comment...

That is a very good point. In that case I will have to write some more B7 fic :)
