Is it safe to assume that he’s playing Nikola Tesla? Kind of surprised that DW has never done a Tesla episode before, really.

And it's probably not surprising DW hasn't done him before - he's someone I've only ever heard of through US shows; he's nothing like as well known as a historical figure over here.
