Yet Another Meme
Apr. 5th, 2010 03:24 pmWhat else do you do on a bank holiday when you're the only one in the universe who hasn't seen the new Doctor? Memed from

1) Make a list of fifteen characters first, and keep it to yourself for the moment.
2) Ask your f-list to post questions in the comments. For example: "One, nine, and fifteen are chosen by a prophecy to save the world from four. Do they succeed?", "Under what circumstances might five and fourteen fall in love?", "Which character on the list would you most want on your side in a zombie invasion?"
3) After your f-list has stopped asking questions, round them up and answer them using the fifteen characters you selected beforehand, then post them.
(Sort of like the reverse of the last one. I'd better go and make a random list).
After that, I should go write something. (And I think I miss the point of the ficlets challenge. It was supposed to be laid back, not 'how soon can I get to the end?'. Maybe I have one tiny, tiny thing in common with Lynda Day after all... )

Date: 2010-04-05 03:04 pm (UTC)Totally OT, but before I forget, I'll mail your two books back to you at the end of the week - I just need to find a *secure* envelope to put them in, first...

Date: 2010-04-05 03:15 pm (UTC)(My Dad once complained to my middle sister that she'd gone out and bought a brand new envelope to post something to him, and she just looked at him and said, "Dad, I'm the only one in this family who does, and somebody needs to..." *cough*) Thanks - did you enjoy?

Date: 2010-04-05 03:25 pm (UTC)Honestly, I was amazed all four books were in it still!
I enjoyed re-reading Human Nature. I'm afraid Well-Mannered War eventually bored me into putting it down and not picking it back up. Which was a disappointment.

Date: 2010-04-05 03:42 pm (UTC)Cool. Shame about the Well-Mannered War, but there you go. I haven't read them for ages, but I did like the Gareth Roberts MAs (especially The English Way of Death, and The Plotters).

Date: 2010-04-05 03:46 pm (UTC)Yes it was a shame - I've read several of Gareth's books (incl EWoD) but this one just didn't work for me. Not sure why.
