I need to update properly (or something) at some point, but more importantly:

OMG, it's festivids!!!

There are a whole bunch I need to check out, but in the annual edition of "Wait, someone vidded what..." I give you a Festivids for Mannequin! My sister and I had that on tape off the telly in the 90s and watched it so many times. It is the best ridiculous tacky 80s film, and that I will stand by. ;-p

But there are lots of enticing-looking vids in there. If you enjoy vids, go have a rifle through the collection!

Some fun Taskmaster ones in there that have made me feel all happy.

Ha, at least it makes me feel useful! And I loved the Taskmaster ones, too. I haven't yet watched all the series, so i suppose I shouldn't have watched them yet, but I couldn't resist. They were very cheering!

Aww, what a coincidence! My friend just sent me the link to the video for "Nothing's gonna stop us now"! :) (We always send music to each other, and for example, the other day we were sending Meat Loaf songs back and forth...)

I've watched some other very nice things now, too. There was a G'kar vid. I should watch the other B5 vids, but I will after I watch G'kar one ten times more ok. XD

In small world news, the recipient of the Mannequin video is someone I went to university with.

(This is probably not as unlikely as it appears at first blush; most of the people I interact with on Dreamwidth are either people I met while I was at university or people I've met through those people.)

Ha, that's cool! I did meet someone at my uni via alt.drwho.creative, but that was the only person, and they'd gone out of fandom (or afaik!) long before I came back, and there were very few others left - just the tiny handful along with you and John when I turned back on adwc around 2005-6 or whenever it was.
