Dear [community profile] justmarriedexchange creator,

Thank you for creating something for me! I love all kinds of different things at different times, I love these fandoms and characters, and I'm sure I'll enjoy what you come up with.

All of my requests are for fanfiction, but if anyone is looking to make art treats, I'd love that, too. (I cannot draw and almost all of my ships are really rare so ♥)

ETA: I forgot to say anywhere else (first exchange I've done since the change), but, yes, I have gifts enabled.

Any prompts other than the freeforms are intended purely for inspiration, not to restrict your choices. Take what's useful and leave what isn't.

Likes: rescues, trapped together, fantasy, history, banter, time travel, time loops, crossovers, banter, humour, hurt/comfort, missing scenes, tropes, sensible people dealing with ridiculous tropes, fake marriages/marriage of conveniences, accidental marriage, forced to work together, x times format.

DNWs: rapid/excessive over-eating (things like eating competitions, sudden compulsion to eat, multiple meals in a row, drowned by drink etc. - am not bothered by eating/drinking generally, don't worry!), character bashing, genderswap, age regression, incest, rape, explicit porn without plot, issuefic, non-canonical body horror/unexpected physical transformations, non-canonical headcanons for canon characters, a/b/o.

(If a DNW is also present in the canon, though, references are generally fine.)

Ship-wise, I usually prefer implicit over explicit - emotions, touch/sensation, first times, undressing, hands, historical costumes, kissing, love conveyed by actions over words, but, honestly, whatever seems right for these characters is the important thing & that's absolutely fine if that includes sex; I just prefer less technical details.

I enjoy many other setting AUs a lot, but only in some fandoms, so please see specific fandom requests below.

Generally, I love sensible people dealing with tropey/fantastical things they never asked for, and the inherent humour of it, even when (especially when?) played straight and with a bit of heart, so all the fake/accidental/convenient marriage scenarios are a perfect match for me!

I'm [archiveofourown.org profile] thisbluespirit at AO3 and pretty much everywhere else I hang out. I have a dear author tag for exchange letters.

Happy creating!

1. Crossover Fandom
Sixth Doctor (DW 1963)/Clara Oswald (DW 2005)

I love multi-era Doctor Who stories, and Six, and Clara, and Clara splinters, so any way you bring them together will work for me) and regardless of whether you ship them for real or just throw them into some cracky situation and watch them deal as the Doctor and companion is up to you. I was in two minds as to nom them as / or &, so basically either way is great as you prefer, or the muse dictates!

Accidental Marriage
Aliens - Make Them Get Married
Fake Marriage - Pretending to be Married for the Inheritance (A less self-explanatory choice, but I think whether this is just a way of blagging their way into a posh family do (or whatever) for Reasons, or because splinter!Clara really does want to inherit something, that these two could get very into it, especially in some sort of Agatha Christie-type setting.)
Harem - Marrying Multiple Versions of the Same Spouse
Marriage of Convenience - To Avoid Otherwise-Likely Marriage To Unbearable Third Party
Marriage of Convenience - To Avoid Marriage to Someone Else
Honeymoon - Planned Heist
Marriage of Convenience - Marrying to Save a Life
Mail-Order Spouse - Mistaken For Mail-Order Spouse and Goes With It
Science Fiction - Suddenly There Are Two Of Spouse
Accidental Marriage - Woke Up Married
Time Travel - People Stuck In Time Loop Get Married And Then Time Loop Ends Unexpectedly
Marriage of Convenience - Marriage To Save Criminal from Other Punishment

Fandom DNW: Please avoid the Timeless Child mentions. (Am fine with Thirteen's era otherwise, generally.)

2. Doctor Who (1963)
Fifth Doctor/Tegan Jovanka

Anything featuring one emotionally repressed 800-year-ish old Time Lord and his stubborn, loyal, tell-it-like-it-is-and-then-some Australian air-stewardess will make me very happy. We all know what it means when two people argue like that in the 1980s. Also because of the awkwardness and high death count they are simultaneously high-angst-bunnies. Which means they are the perfect victims of these following freeforms:

Fake Marriage - Amnesia Makes Characters (Erroneously) Assume They’re Married
Marriage of Convenience - Citizenship Marriage
Marriage of Convenience - For Visa And Immigration Purposes
Forced Marriage - Married To Save Each Other's Lives
Marriage of Convenience - Green Card Equivalent for Human on Alien Planet
Accidental Marriage
Accidental Marriage - Woke Up Married
Aliens - Think They're Married
Aliens - Make Them Get Married
Time Travel - Time Loop Can Only Be Ended Through Marriage
Time Travel - People Stuck In Time Loop Get Married And Then Time Loop Ends Unexpectedly
Dimension Travel - Couple Finds Out They're Married In An Alternate Universe
Forced Marriage - To Save The World

I haven't been able to listen to the BFAs with Tegan in so far, barring a couple, so if you have, I would prefer not to be spoilered or to have a fic based on a scenario I'm not yet familiar with. And also, though some bits of Big Finish are Canon in my head, other bits, like Five's era are Clearly Optional. But I have listened to The Gathering (mixed feelings) and Time in Office, which you can tell from the above tags. Like, OMG, Leela, still so awesome.)

Fandom DNW: Please avoid the Timeless Child mentions. (Am fine with Thirteen's era otherwise, generally.)

6. Dracula (TV 1968)
Mina Harker/John Seward/Lucy Weston
Jonathan Harker/Mina Harker/John Seward
Mina Harker/John Seward

As long as there are unlikely Victorian Gothic shenanigans and one hapless fainting Victorian gent involved, I'll be happy. I love this random old adaptation, and it has about six of my fave old-telly actors in at once, all shipping each other all ways canonically, with vampires. As you can imagine, dear author, I was immediately smitten. Anyway, weird rituals involving weddings aren't much less worse or more outlandish than some of Van Helsing's other ideas, so have a list of possibilities, a lot of which revolve around supernatural plots. You will, I hope, be inspired, even if Dr Seward will probably only pass out again at the mere sight of this list:

Second Marriage - About To Marry Someone Else But Dead Previous Spouse Is Actually Alive (or Undead as the case may be)
Accidental Marriage - Included Unwitting Third Party In Marriage Accidentally (Is Dr Seward's middle name "Unwitting" because I'm pretty sure it could be.)
Ritualistic Marriage - Blood Ritual Accidentally Results In Marriage
Magic - Resurrection Spell Requires Ritual Marriage
Magic - Resurrection Ritual Requires Marriage
Magic - Resurrection Spell Requires Marriage (Same prompt nommed multiple times, sorry!)
Time Travel - Fixing the Past also Results in Unexpectedly Getting Married
Supernatural - Marriage To Stop Eldritch Forces From Re-Entering The World

7. Sapphire & Steel
Sapphire/Silver/Steel
Silver & Copper

S&S being a bit different to most series (I don't expect they even probably could get married in any normal way that would mean much to them) - these prompts are a mix of "marriage scenarios that might cause an assignment" and "elements play along with human assumptions about them" idea. Or, you know, Sapphire being all, "Oh, yes, Silver and Steel are totally married", or both Sapphire and Silver pretending to be Steel's spouse accidentally or on purpose, and Steel being all }:| at them. (I don't know what metaphoric marriage becomes real means, tbh, but it was sitting there with a flashing "Sapphire and Steel bait" warning light on it so I took it.)

I ship Silver/Sapphire/Steel but definitely in a very as-canon, inhuman, in-each-other's-heads/perfect team kind of way. But I think that does mean a lot to them, as we see at various points in the series. Ship them, but never make them too human (unless Time's doing something weird to them they need to stop).

With the Copper prompt, I'm never sure whether & or / is most appropriate for Elements, but I'm happy with Elements interacting on assignment or elemental weird flirtiness (♥) as it pleases you. I love seeing people's takes on the elements we don't see, and am forever up for another look at Copper, because of the mention of Silver annoying them in A1! (I've done my own idea of Copper, but don't worry about that, I'm absolutely interested in all the different Coppers anyone wants to throw at me, as well as also very happy if your take is similar to mine anyway.)

The only thing I'd ask you not to do with Copper is to use that combo as a way to get rid of Silver from the Sapphire/Steel equation permanently. Elements/Elements is how my heart goes, but S/S/S is my shiny elemental OT3 4eva and the three of them together is all the things.)

But it's S&S. Have fun. I love to see everyone's twists on how to write for this unique fandom. So, be weird or creepy or funny or cute or flirty or drop mysterious hints about the nature of these fascinating beings, or all of the above, and I'll just wait to be delighted by the results.

Fake Marriage
Wedding Ceremony - Crashing the Wedding to Prevent Bad Marriage
Accidental Marriage - Fake/Joke Online Marriage Unexpectedly Becomes Real
Magic - Marries Ghost To Resurrect Them
Accidental Marriage - Metaphoric Marriage Becomes Literal
Magic - Shared Dreamscape Marriage Fake
Marriage - Mistaken For Married While Undercover
Soul Bond - Spouses Psychically Share Each Other’s Pain
Ritualistic Marriage - Wedding Requires A Blood Sacrifice
Magic - Trapped In Fake Perfect World That Includes Fake Perfect Marriage

DNW: Other setting AUs, evil!Silver.

9. Star Wars Prequel Trilogy
Padme Amidala/Obi-Wan Kenobi

I love them! AU is basically a requisite here, but in general I prefer canon-divergence (although if you want to other setting AU, any sort of fantasy/history/supernatural would be amazing too). So, things where some mission involving an accidental marriage happens before Padme can get together with Anakin (or even after, if she's realised she misread her feelings & everything gets more tangled), or in post-canon Padme Lives AUs - or whatever else you can come up with from these prompts. They are the prettiest AU ever, right, y/y? <3

Accidental Marriage
Arranged Marriage - Avoiding It by Marrying Someone Else
Accidental Marriage - Series Of Mishaps Prevent Annulment Of Accidental Marriage
Ritualistic Marriage - Mistakenly Believe Ritual Marriage Isn't Legally Binding
Accidental Marriage- Fake Marriage Unknowing Hits All Cultural Wedding Rites of Current Location
Fake Marriage - Undercover As Married Leads To Unexpected Feelings
Fake Marriage - Mistaken For Married While Undercover
Marriage of Convenience - Marriage For Protection
Magic - Marrying For A Prophecy
Political Marriage - To Avoid A Diplomatic Incident
Forced Marriage - Married To Save Each Other's Lives
Time Travel - People Stuck In Time Loop Get Married And Then Time Loop Ends Unexpectedly
Time Travel - Fixing the Past also Results in Unexpectedly Getting Married

(I'm not keen on Anakin/Padme - it hits a few personal squicks hard for me, worse luck - but I'm not an Anakin-hater or anything and obv it is a fairly important canon relationship, so I'm fine with however you may or may not want to handle that.)

Welcome To Our Village Please Invade Carefully
Katrina Lyons/Uljabaan

I ship it but I don't, but I dooooo, so I need the fic to go where the series never went and probably never should. Anyway, I am all for cracky marriage tropes and WtOVPIC seems entirely ripe for any sort of cracky trope going. For the invasion research project! Or for a green card if Uljabaan gets stuck on Earth post-invasion, or the reverse if Uljabaan took Katrina to space to prove a point about Earth inferiority etc. Katrina feels the need to reclaim the Ayleswater estate for Reasons! Obscure Geonin traditions dictate an alliance must be made! Nobody thought it was a real example ceremony. (The Computer made a tiny legal error. It's very sorry. It'll fix it when it comes back from a week off visiting the Virus.) Etc. etc. Uljabaan accidentally mindwipes everyone instead of just Katrina and mistaken detective work = They Must Be A Totally Normal Married Human Couple. (Spoiler: They're not.)

Whatever happens, I'm sure Uljabaan will be a lot happier about it when he discovers cake is traditionally involved. Katrina will not. Unless it's really excellent cake, of course.

Accidental Marriage
Accidental Marriage - Woke Up Married to Worst Enemy
Fake Marriage - Amnesia Makes Characters (Erroneously) Assume They’re Married
Marriage of Convenience - Green Card Equivalent for Human on Alien Planet (or vice versa in Uljabaan's case)
Marriage of Convenience - For Visa And Immigration Purposes
Time Travel - People Stuck In Time Loop Get Married And Then Time Loop Ends Unexpectedly
Fake Marriage - Made Legally Binding by Helpful Third Party (I am sure Cresdon Green is full of potentially Helpful Third Parties)
Fake Marriage Proposal - Accepting Their Proposal to Spite Them
Proposal - Proposed with Ulterior Motives
Aliens - Artifact Creates Marriage
Aliens - Marriage to Avoid Interplanetary Conflict
Aliens - Think They're Married
Aliens - Make Them Get Married

Fandom DNWs: Other setting AUs. What is life without Cresdon Green and the glorious Geonin Empire?

Whatever you come up with, I hope you have fun and I look forward to seeing the results! ♥
