So, I was wishing I was well enough to write fic no one would ever read for Craddock and Co because I'm still thinking about it. Well, actually, I was wishing someone else would at least have drawn art on tumblr or something, but also fic.

Anyway, I resorted to trying to draw the scene where Lucy and Uncle Charles are starting their lives of crime-fighting together myself. Apologies for the bad drawing, but in my defence a) i do not practice the art sufficiently to do it well and b) please admire my choice of suit for Lucy because I feel it is Canon now:




Life is to be lived, not endured. And, like Christmas, playing Hamlet is a treat that should be reserved for once a year to keep it special. <3<3<3


And talking of comforting fictional period detectives, I was shocked and delighted to find on my reading list today that someone had written Sam & Sister Boniface fic. Can Sister Boniface possibly have been EATEN BY A BEAR? Sam is DISTRAUGHT. Felix is trying to patiently point out that there are no bears around in the UK any more. (spoiler: Sister Boniface has not been eaten by a bear.) <3

Thank you! I was pleased with Lucy, and relieved that I managed to draw some sort of semblance of a bleeding Earl on the floor, because that bit nearly finished the whole hasty effort off. XD

I haven't yet managed to rewatch the eps I have, but I don't remember it being so - I think it was just for the fic's premise.

I think the drawing turned out pretty well. Did you have specific reference images for the clothing?

Aw, thank you! I was relatively pleased myself because I thought I was going to have to resort to doing it with stick figures. XD <3

And I Googled before I drew and there was a 1890s suit for Lucy that looked like that so while I wasn't looking at it, I had it in my head, and also for the general shape of the men's clothing, even if that didn't come out very well.

Aw, your drawing is lovely:) Lucy has a nice outfit and looks 3-D and the body looks nicely dead! Good hat and hair combo too.

Aw, thank you! The body is just bleeding/wounded/passing out, but it nearly scuppered all my plans so I'm glad it at least looks like a bleeding body. XD

Thank you! The fandom is a very shortlived little 1993 radio drama, so it is known by hardly anybody, but it was very sweet and fun. <3

I hadn't commented on your other post on account of only having listened to the first episode, but since I have listened to the first episode I think it's safe to say this is adorable fanart.

(And yes, on the strength of the first episode Lucy definitely has that quality of 'If I put this risky plan into effect before I have time to think about it, reality won't catch on to what I'm doing until it's too late to stop me.')
