I don't know what Bleak Expectations is, but I like some of those quotes. Especially the 'later than a dead man on a delayed train' .

Aw, thank you! Bleak Expectations is another BBC radio comedy. It's a parody of 19th C literary classics, like Charles Dickens and it's very silly (complimentary).

The Bleak Expectations are super fun even without knowledge of canon (beyond what you've told me about it and general Dickens pastiche :)
