Blake's 7 Very Silly Fanvids

I apologise for the spammage tonight, but let's not end on a sour note:
I found this, and thought it was one of the funnest vid's I'd seen, especially for B7 - there aren't many things like this for that fandom.
Bernard Cribbins's Right Said Fred and the Liberator Crew:
And then I saw this by the same vidder, and laughed rather more than I have for a good while. I leave it to everyone else to choose between the two:
Yes, Benny Hill, Blake, Cally and Avon. Who'd have thought it?
:-)

Date: 11 Nov 2010 08:02 pm (UTC)The song is by Benny Hill, a 1970s UK comedian that ... we'd probably mostly prefer to forget. And it very likely is a parody of something like that. I could comment more coherently had I been older when Benny Hill was around, and if I knew Ringo. Possibly. I am rarely fully coherent. ;-)

Date: 11 Nov 2010 09:31 pm (UTC)"Ringo" must be out there somewhere, along with Greene performing the lyrics to the "Bonanza" theme (again, too funny)... Anyway, I've heard other parodies of it, including "Irving," about a very Jewish cowboy who was the 142nd fastest gun in the West!
