Anway, I will catch up with stuff later. In the meantime, here it is. Cheap and cheerful (and the beginning could have done with tweaking, but there's a problem with tweaking beginning clips when the middle and ending ones are fine. Maybe one day I will update it or something.)

A general tribute (no spoilers!) for Press Gang - and its love affair with phones. (If you've ever seen any of this show, you will know what I mean. Wrong numbers, BT faults, anonymous calls, killers on the line, answering machines, early mobiles etc etc). And I got nearly everyone in there. (Sadly no Sam. Or Mr Winters.)

Thank you! It wasn't perfect, but fun (I hoped) and not too bad for a first effort. And, yes, love the hidden phone. (I love the way Press Gang always has these random surreal elements that have a rational explanation, or at least, are something to do with Colin's strange existence.)

Hee! I love it! It's been absolutely years since I saw Press Gang, and I only have a good memory of one particular scene* but I really enjoyed that video.

*The scene in question involved Dexter Fletcher's and Julia Sawalha's characters. They were eating with chopsticks, and had a bet over who'd finish first. JS was doing really badly, as she couldn't eat with chopsticks, so she finally *speared* all the food with her chopstick and stuck it in her mouth. DF just stared at her then said something about her being really competitive or something along those lines. I thought it was so funny.

Aw, thank you! I managed to gradually pick up the DVDs about 3 or 4 years ago, and had rather a mad rewatch/burst of fic-writing/making text icons, so know it rather scarily well now, but I managed to miss nearly all of it on the original broadcast.

Also, because of this, I know exactly the scene you mean (it is from S1, A Night In, and Spike says "Lynda, you're the only person I've ever met who eats dinner to win!" But I am mainly v v amused because this is the same episode in which Colin turns up dressed as a pink rabbit... and you remembered the food? :lol:

LOL! I have *no* memory of Colin dressed as a pink rabbit, but that food scene stuck in my head. It's weird what stays with you. I didn't even remember their character names. ::shakes head::
