Day 4: Comment to someone you haven't ever interacted with before or introduce yourself to someone you've interacted with and friend/follow them.
I have been continuing (on and off) to poke around in Yuletide fics and have been leaving comments whenever I could, and most of these have been to new people. Maybe not today, but definitely several yesterday, and there will doubtless be more, so let's count this one as done.
Day 5: In your own space, talk about a creator. Show us why you think they are amazing.
This is a creator, in terms of fanworks, and I did this last year, but actually, how to single one person out? Especially when so many of my favourite creators are here on my flist? I didn't feel all that comfortable about it last year, and I still don't now, so I'll skip this one. Let's just say that so many of you right here on my flist are so awesome at making stuff - icons, fic, vids and all sorts of things that you make me wonder why I even bother to attempt anything of my own. Anyway, yay, for glorious fannish things and amazingly talented people! \o/
Day 12: In your own space, talk about what you think the future holds for fandom. What are your hopes and dreams for fandom? Do you have any predictions about what the next five years holds for fandom?
I don't really have many thoughts about the future of fandom. I'm sure it'll carry on, one way or another. I hope it doesn't all disappear into things like Tumblr where you can't talk properly, but people will carry on liking things, sharing things and arguing and so on wherever and however, I'm sure. Unless there really is a zombie apocalypse, of course.
Day 8: In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you howamazing and awesome and loveable you really are sometimes you're not that bad.
Er...
Like several others on my flist, I don't know what to do with this day, either. (We were all British, I notice; sometimes cultural stereotypes are at least semi-true.) I suppose I'm not actually averse to people saying nice things about me, really. But mostly everybody's already very nice to me round here; asking for more is just being greedy. Let's move on, shall we?
