Firstly, a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to [livejournal.com profile] mickeyk and [livejournal.com profile] aralias! (For some reason, it did not really occur to me that people might have birthdays while I was away. *cough*)

Also, on the 21st, it was the 30th anniversary of a certain TV episode. Everyone said 'Happy Gauda Prime Day' on my flist, but isn't that a contradiction in terms? (Shouldn't we have a special greeting, like "Many commiserations to you, it's Gauda Prime Day"?)

Anyway, under the cut have my fave B7 fanvid. Again. (And, yes, I know, I never thought it would be when I saw the song title, either. But it is. Also, as ever, DO NOT WATCH if you don't want to be spoiled completely. B7 fanvids are frequently like that. It's a thing.)

(Also, in my last post, I realise I forgot to mention outside of the cut that one of my gift fics featuring Silver is also a neat little Gauda Prime fixit, for those who like that sort of thing.)

ETA: I am home, but tired. I shall continue to catch up over the next few days.

Actually - I don't have 2.3 because it's out of stock. *pouts* THAT was the one I most wanted to listen to - it's an Xmas one.

But I'm listening to 2.1...

Well I can listen to the first two. I want to listen to them in order, though...

Heh, I assumed your fingers and brain weren't quite coordinated there.

(I've also preordered the new Liz CC - but that's not out until March! Hooray for Xmas money!)

OOOOH! Are the BBC Shakespeare audios or DVDs??

I listened to 2.4 - and then wished I hadn't because it specifically references some events in 2.3 (as far as I can tell not having listened to 2.3) so now I'm cranky. I will have to re-listen to 2.4 once I get hold of 2.3 (which I hope won't be too long). I really enjoyed S2 - some excellent story telling in there.

I like your cunning plan - hope it all works out. :D

Oooh! *runs away to look at Amazon*

LOL No, re-listening won't be awful, but I'm irritated that BF didn't send all the CDs together. :(

Very cunning - Baldric would be proud of you!

That is an appallingly perfect song for a Blake's 7 vid. And the vid itself is very well done!

I didn't, and I think it is too. :-( I wanted to think something up for this week's b7friday topic and failed. Man, an i glad it never ruined a Christmas for me like it did for so many back when it was originally shown.

Great vid; I am in awe of those who make them.

Yes, like me! All versions of my real name and various nicknames were gone when I joined LJ so I used that as it was what i used on Yahoo at the time.

Perhaps I'd never had opportunity to watch that video before, but I've seen it now, and yes, appallingly perfect is right. I wish I could have B7 on DVD, because I'd really like to watch it again, and I'm not certain my old tapes (from the 1980s) are still okay. However, enough of my old DW tapes were still okay that maybe those would be, too.

ETA: Well... I just found a region-free set being offered somewhere for a reasonable price -- probably by someone who copied his/her tapes onto DVD, but since the USA will apparently never get an official release, I might as well get it that way, semi-pirated.

I'm afraid I do not think the video had enough Servalan for me! I actually started watching Blake's 7 in the middle of series 4, not knowing what season it as or what was going to happen. Totally loved it and then was quite surprised to discover it was so close to the end! Since then I've gone back and watched it from the begining and I like it so much.
