I did promise this a while back - just a few. (Sorry, the quality isn't great on some of them. My technical skills are developing slowly!)
And I should have said in my incoherent high-on-nice-reviews-post that the reason I love seeing Hattie Jacques getting a role like this is because she is almost always the dragon of a hospital Matron. So often that on one occasion, even the scriptwriter gives a nod to her being the same Matron ("I worked at a hospital in my previous job - there was a surgeon there who looked just like you," she says to Kenneth Williams in Carry on Camping...)
Okay:
So here she is playing the female lead, as initially shy and unassertive Peggy who teaches her husband a lesson and discovers she's better at running a taxi-firm than he is.
(I love her way of dealing with his missing their anniversary: "No, I'm the one who should apologise... I shouldn't sit here, moping around all day and keep on expecting you to take me out once a year.." Heh heh.)

It's one of the most distracting things about any film I know!! (Lots of the early ones also turn up a young Bill Owen, who doesn't look much different to the old Bill Owen, save for the bobble hat).
