Because why not? And I am still extra tired. (Though I really do have hopes of tomorrow now. Or the day after at least. *sigh*) Hopefully this will be in my capabilities and prove cheering! Memed from various flisters:

Name a character in any of my fandoms, and I'll answer these questions:

1. Do you love/hate/don’t feel strongly about this character?

My answer to 5 is in almost any case I can think of, a resounding: "No, I go to great lengths not to! People should have clothes on!! Clothes are good." or "Yes, *sob* can I have the brain bleach, please?" (Yes. I know. I'm v strange, sorry.) So if anyone wants an alternate question for that, feel free to give me one.

Del Tarrant.

Hmm. An alternative to 5. How would you feel if he had hair like Deeta's?

1. I quite like him, actually.
2. I love how he sees himself as the hero of this story, but he really, really isn't, and that the series can do that. (In any other show he would be, wouldn't he?)
3. I think the ending of Deathwatch. I do like Tarrant, but I didn't expect to be that moved by anything involving him, and yet I was.
4. Er. Well, I wouldn't mind being as healthy as he obviously is, and I could have some of his height and maybe some of his excellent Robin Hood S3 outfits.
5. That would be tragic. It's bad enough that it's not as pretty in S4 without being doomed to being forever in an Ace!Rimmer wig. Although, whether that would make him start behaving exactly like Ace, I don't know...
6. I don't think I really have that many strong feelings about him - I quite liked him from when we worked out what he was up to in Power Play (?), and liked him a lot more once he started getting missions with Dayna, because he's always more fun when he's with Dayna.
7. Tarrant/Dayna. Possibly also Tarrant/Robin Hood outfits and Tarrant/self-delusion. No, really, Tarrant/Dayna.

I enjoyed your answers. For a while I resented Tarrant--I liked him in Powerplay, but Harvest of Kairos really put me off. I was like "So suddenly this is the Del Tarrant Show?! Who died and made him Gary Stu?" But then I got over it and liked him again.

I also LOVE Tarrant/self-delusion. His speech to Avon about how Avon's a failure and he's a success is priceless. I like Tarrant/Dayna, too. Tarrant/Avon also appeals to me, because to me it's the least angsty and most amusing Avon ship, and I like characters I like to have some fun, even B7 characters, and even if it's the rolling around on the flight deck punching each other kind of fun.

Yes, it's Ben Steed again, isn't it? He really doesn't get that Tarrant's not who Tarrant thinks he is - he writes him pretty aggressively and annoyingly again in Moloch, along he seems to have stopped by Power.

*sigh* Some aliens really do have the right idea.

Tarrant: Kiss?!! 0_o
Dayna: *awesome awesome with bonus explosives and kissing*

I can see Tarrant/Avon, although I think it would inevitably end with Avon doing something cruel and Tarrant needing all the self-delusion for comfort. But then Avon ships with everyone, really, so I'm going with Dayna.

Avon can entertain himself elsewhere.
