I surrendered Meme

I've been thinking about this since I talked about favourite memes the other day. And, you know, maybe it's been long enough that we could risk it again? Let's see:

1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction show, medical drama, criminal procedure, etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them.
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.

Except for not being set in the '60s, The Middleman actually fits the description pretty well, especially the numerous references to other TV/movies. The series isn't set in the '60s, but if memory serves there is that one episode where the Middleman's predecessor from the '60s winds up in the present day. (And at one point he makes a Star Trek reference and then immediate apologizes to our heroes for riffing on a show that was cancelled 40 years ago and they've probably never heard of.)
