I've been thinking about this since I talked about favourite memes the other day. And, you know, maybe it's been long enough that we could risk it again? Let's see:

1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction show, medical drama, criminal procedure, etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them.
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.

A group survivors of an apocalypse flee in a spaceship... to where, and has the world really been destroyed/do other groups survive etc. etc. Or just get the hell out and explore the great unknown. All that's up to you, of course. ;-)

I hesitate, because last time you gave me one of the most brain-eating and brilliant prompts known to man. But on the other hand, you gave me one of the most brain-eating and brilliant prompts known to man (and woman). So, reluctantly and against my better judgment, I surrender. Before I did this, I was looking up to see the prompts I gave, and I hereby promise not to give you one about an SF show with a Shakespeare obsessed serial killer again. *cough*

Anyway, this is a little vague as a prompt, but what if there's a literal ghost train network along all the disused/closed railway lines, (of course, incorporating lost Underground stations, too). And the people who know about it and, er, have to guard the secret/use it for stuff/haunt it. Anyway "ghost train network", whatever you can do with that.

With swash, buckle and treasure-hunting. Up to you whether in space, by hot-air balloon, or the traditional kind, but there must be sword-fights, explosions and an uppity parrot. There are not enough pirates on TV; it is up to you to provide some!

Okay, there is an art gallery where the paintings come to life at night, and of course, some people protecting the secret, and others with more sinister motives. (Or possibly just figures from the paintings at odds, or Oddly Sinister, or whatever. I leave it to you.)

Hmm, hmm, I am not doing so well with ideas now, but: a quest to find x lost artefacts of some kind! (Setting real world or any other, your choice). The catch: you need to find the right person to find each one; each artefact only answers to one particular person.

Er, that's a bit weird, sorry. Do what you will with it. You have freedom to wiggle as much as needed. :-)

Okay, a 1960s Secret Agent Alien-Fighting, Supernatural-investigating, Mad-Scientist-unmasking Team. But it's a comedy! In retro technicolour such as you need sunglasses for. With hi-jinks. And probably shenanigans. And definitely harrassed Men from the Ministry. (It's so hard keeping all these things secret, right?)

ETA: Oh, and bonus points for refs to any of the many real TV shows that would fit that description. And bonus bonus points for alien invaders, who are in fact alien tourists seeing the sights and unable to understand why humans keep persecuting them while they're trying to land somewhere near the Eiffel Tower. (I might be suddenly liking my own idea too much. Ignore me. Take it your own wicked way and have it been a black comedy or secretly tragic or something. *hands it over and behaves*)
