Various Icons (NaArMaMo)

I did actually make some icons for NaArMaMo that weren't from Enemy at the Door. Here are the rest (barring a few from Ripper Street that I hope to make a full set out of sometime) - mini sets on a theme for each day, in most cases.

Mostly a handful each from various TV shows, but one set of strong female characters from old TV I've been watching, and another of icons from one scene (Alfred Burke in Children of the Damned), plus kittens.

1-5 (Poldark, Survivors, Public Eye, Duchess of Duke Street, The Avengers)

You had to do kittens, didn't you! I try to keep up the grumpy front, and I will always growl at soppy stuff (it's the law). But kittens! #19 especially...

And more Alfred Burke. :) I've become strangely fond of him. And in black and white again, I'm glad to see. Somehow he doesn't look right in colour!

Speaking of which, very nice use of colour in the "Avengers" ones.

:lol: He does suit b&w, doesn't he? Though colour's okay, too. And, I know, my LJ these days is just "love me, love my favourite character actors" but what can you do?

And thank you - The Avengers (or the colour eps) are such fun to icon; they're very bright and the tongue-in-cheek nature of the show is very visible in the caps.

Ohhh, you make icons too! They look delightful :) The classic movies ones are very pretty, and the kittens slaughtered me, haha. TOO CUTE.

Thank you! Sometimes I even make icons of things people have actually heard of, too. :-)

And icon-making is just kind of addictive and fun, isn't it? It's always nice to be able to decide you want an icon of something and then just go and make yourself one.

It really is! I just love it :) I tend to just go through caps and not have a specific thing in mind, but tweaking the images is ever so fun.
