Stupid Question

I'm trying to think of song for Peri to sing (in karaoke). (Planet of Fire was broadcast in March 1984, so preferably something from before that date.)

I'm going to think about it, but if people have ideas, that'd be cool.

(I'm not saying why, because I wasn't supposed to be writing more of this yet, but I got distracted.)

Interesting suggestion. (The attempt should certainly be amusingly dreadful, which is fair enough!!). I'm contemplating Sunday Girl now.

Oh, lovely! You made me giggle. I don't know what I'll use, but that is definitely tempting. (Six has been sent out of the room, but still, you could see why it'd be on her mind. And it's a karaoke sort of song, too.) Yes, I think I might have to go with that one.

For reasons I cannot explain, the image that immediately came to mind for me was Peri emoting into a microphone:
"It's my party and I'll cry if I want to...cry if I want to...cry if I want to..."

That's lovely, too. If she gets forced to sing again, I shall bear it mind, but You're So Vain, it's just...

I may eventually post the fic I'm talking about and then everyone will understand why Peri is singing karaoke. Heh.
