These are pretty much all of what I've watched, generally just trying the fandoms I know. (The vids are all still anonymous at this stage). You'll find any warnings/ratings on the vid posts.

Gonna Get Through This World (4.02 mins, An Adventure in Space and Time.) Wonderful tribute to Verity Lambert & Waris Hussein & the creation of Doctor Who.

There were actually two vids for Bedknobs & Broomsticks and they're both great & much fun:

Substitutiary Locomotion (1.53 mins)

Take It Off (3.35 mins.)

Primadonna Daisy (2.40 mins, Dead Like Me). Sharp tribute to Daisy & all her facets.

All in Together (3.13, Great British Bake Off). I've never even watched GBBO, but this is a ridiculously happy-making thing. (I didn't watch the other two vids for it, but it sounds as though they're also fab.)

Welcome to the Jungle (3.14 mins, Henry V (1989)) Such an excellent look at the film/play and Henry, war, the French...

All That's Left Are Your Bones (3.22 mins, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell) If I have a favourite so far, this is it. Gorgeous, beautiful JSMN vid, with perfect song-choice. *flails a lot*

Glitter & Gold (1.55 mins, Julius Caesar (1953)). Fab dramatic JC vid. (It's funny watching this now after seeing James Mason being melodramatically evil all over my TV lately, though.)

Blank Space (2.30 mins, MacGyver.) MacGyver/Murdoc. I don't watch MacGyver but I know enough people who do & anyway, who isn't going to be amused at evil arch-nemeses vids where they just can't kill each other/leave each other alone? (Not me, anyway. I'm v. amused.)

Superstar (2.10, The Muppets). Super-fun Miss Piggy tribute with some great editing.

Falling in Love (3.18 mins, Persuasion (1995).) Beautiful Anne Elliott/Frederick Wentworth vid, really just goes with the nature of the source & makes it work without any bangs or flashes. Lovely.

(I'm apparently really ignorant when it comes to the latter end of the alphabet!)

The full Masterlist is here if you want to check out what teeny tiny fandoms now have extremely shiny vids made for them. :-)

Thanks for the links. The GBBO was particularly lovely, and I've spent half an hour browsing others. Some amazing talent at work there.

That Adventure in Space and Time one is wonderful! Thanks for reccing it, because I may not have found it otherwise, and my life would have been the poorer for it.

I'm not a particular fan of Taylor Swift ("Shake It Off" is the only one of her songs that I can honestly say I love), but I should probably send her a thank you note for all of the hilarious Foe Yay fanvids born from "Blank Space".

I've never seen MacGyver either, so I had totally passed over that one when I skimmed the list before. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

The odd thing is that I am a fan of MacGyver, and yet I have no idea who that Murdoc bloke is! I guess he must be from the later seasons, which didn't air here (or not on my version of ITV, anyway). I remember a show about a man who spent an inordinate amount of his time crawling through air-conditioning ducts, and building things out of pipes and sellotape, not battling a clearly immortal psychopath with a thing for Hooded Claw-esque murder attempts! But it is a good video. :) And the "Adventure In Time And Space" one is fab! The music isn't to my taste, but it works perfectly anyway. It's great that our little show has this epic tale behind it.

He first appeared in season 2, IMDb tells me, but he wasn't in very many episodes overall, so you might have missed him. It was just that every year or so there'd be an episode with the premise, "Hey, remember the master assassin Murdoc, who we last saw being blown up/falling off a cliff/having an entire building dropped on him? Well, he survived, and he's back for revenge on MacGyver again." Although, to be fair, I think there's at least one episode where he was just minding his own assassiny business and happened to bump into Mac anyway, and there's one episode where he and Mac team up after Murdoc's employers doing something even he thinks is beyond the pale.

Oh, I see. Thank you! I suppose I must have missed him then - or possibly just caught one appearance, and didn't think anything of it. It's all such a horribly long time ago now! There should be a law against the '80s being so long ago. It's most off-putting. ;)

There was an Inspector Rex one. It is amazing how ridiculously happy the Inspector Rex one made me...

Absolutely :)

(It's a little Austrian copy show - with the central law enforcement character, Rex, being a German Shepherd. Got shown on the local multicultural channel and was a totally unexpected hit :)
