Am now thinking of prompts... can I ask, if one fandom in a crossover prompt is firmly British and Obscure, can the other be American and Not So Obscure? (I have two characters I really really really would like to see...)

Oh, yes. When prompting for crossovers, the other fandom can be anything you want, no matter how large or anything. :-)

Alas, poor livejournal. It would be less sad if its successor was sliiightly more conversational. But instead fandom got Tumblr.
